Nationally Syndicated Radio Travel Expert Stephanie Abrams to Become Honorary Friend of Saint Patrick


DOWNPATRICK, CO. DOWN, Northern Ireland, March 4, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Travel guru and broadcaster Stephanie Abrams has been nominated as an "Honorary Friend of Saint Patrick" -- an accolade which she will receive when she travels to Ireland for the 17th March presentation of a series of shows for her award winning radio programs "Traveling Feet" and "Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams."

The Friends of Saint Patrick is an international charity which celebrates the legacy of the Saint Patrick in Ireland and around the World. Based beside Patrick's Grave at the $10 million Saint Patrick Centre in Downpatrick in Ireland, the organisation bring thousands of children together every year to learn about Patrick's message of reconciliation for all faiths. It also provides the only permanent exhibition on Patrick in the world and supports good causes overseas -- most recently the children of the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster and the refugees of Central Sudan through our 2006 program.
