We are sad to have to announce that on Thursday, March 1, Jörgen Svensson, Chairman of Supervisory Board AS Norma and Vice President Legal Affairs Autoliv Inc., died of a heart attack during a skiing vacation with his family. Jörgen was only 45 years old. He was appointed chairman of the supervisory board of AS Norma 1999. With his exceptionally extensive knowledge of our business, the automotive industry and his personal very highly regarded skills he has very strongly contributed to developing AS Norma to the leading supplier of occupant restraint systems in the former CIS market. He leaves behind his wife and two sons. There is no decision made yet about who will take on the position as Chairman of the Supervisory board.
