STOXX Ltd. Changes the Composition of the Select Dividend Indexes

Regular Annual Review to be Effective on March 19, 2007


ZURICH, Switzerland, March 7, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- STOXX Ltd. today announced changes in the composition of the Dow Jones STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 Index, the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index, the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index, the Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC Select Dividend 20 Index and the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Select Dividend 15 Index.

Effective with the opening of markets on March 19, 2007, eight components will be exchanged in the Dow Jones STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 Index. The two largest components measured by dividend yield that are being added to the European portion of the index are ENI (Italy, Oil & Gas, MILAN:ENI) and VODAFONE GROUP (Great Britain, Telecommunications, LSE:VOD). The two largest components exiting are ENIRO (Sweden, Media, OMX (SE):ENRO) and RAUTARUUKKI K (Finland, Basic Resources, OMX (FI):RTRKS).

The two largest additions to the Asia/Pacific portion of the index measured by dividend yield are INSURANCE AUSTRALIA GROUP LTD (Australia, Insurance, ASX:IAG) and VENTURE CORP LTD (Singapore, Industrial Goods & Services, SGP:VENM). The two largest components exiting are CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS LTD (Hong Kong, Travel & Leisure, HON:0293) and KEPPEL CORP LTD (Singapore, Industrial Goods & Services, SGP:KPLM)

There are no changes in the Americas for the Dow Jones STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 Index.

In the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index the two largest companies by dividend yield that are being added to the index are STATOIL (Norway, Oil & Gas, OSLO:STL) and VODAFONE GROUP (Great Britain, Telecommunications, LSE: VOD). The two largest components exiting are HOLMEN B (Sweden, Basic Resources, OMX (SE):HOLMb) and RAUTARUUKKI K (Finland, Basic Resources, OMX (FI):RTRKS).

In the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index, the two leading components measured by dividend yield that are being added are BELGACOM (Belgium, Telecommunications, EURONEXT (BE):BCOM) and WERELDHAVE (The Netherlands, Financial Services, EURONEXT (NL):WEHA). The two largest components exiting are Arcelor Mittal (Luxembourg, Basic Resources, EURONEXT (FR):MTP) and SUEDZUCKER (Germany, Food & Beverage, XETRA (DE):SZUG).

In the Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC Select Dividend 20 Index, the two biggest additions measured by dividend yield are GLITNIR BANKI HF (Iceland, Banks, OMX (IS):GLB) and VOLVO B (Sweden, Industrial Goods & Services, OMX (SE):VOLVb). The two largest components exiting are VOLVO A (Sweden, Industrial Goods & Services, OMX (SE):VOLVa) and UPM KYMMENE (Finland, Basic Resources, OMX (FI):UPM1V).

There are no changes in the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Select Dividend 15 Index.

As of March 6, 2007 the dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 Index rose to 3.51% from 3.34%.The dividend yield of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index increased to 3.21% from 2.78% and the dividend yield of the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index augmented to 3.99% from 3.12%. The dividend yield of the Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC Select Dividend 20 Index is up 3.47% from 3.11% and the dividend yield of the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Select Dividend 15 Index remains at 5.00%.

Changes in the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend Indexes are being announced today after the conclusion of a regular annual component review. The Dow Jones STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 Index tracks the 100 highest dividend-paying stocks in Europe, in the Americas and in Asia/Pacific. The index universe is defined as all dividend-paying companies in the three regions of the Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800 Index.

The Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index -- covering Europe -- and the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index -- covering the Eurozone -- track the 30 highest dividend-paying stocks relative to their respective home markets.

The index universe is defined as all dividend-paying companies in the Dow Jones STOXX 600 for the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index and in the Dow Jones EURO STOXX for the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index, respectively.

The Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC Select Dividend 20 Index covers the 20 highest dividend-paying stocks in the Nordic region, whereas the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Select Dividend 15 Index measures the 15 highest dividend-paying stocks in the countries which became new member states of the enlarged European Union on May 1, 2004. Their index universe is defined as all dividend-paying companies in the Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC index and in the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Total Market Index respectively.
