Retalix Promotes Two Former IDS Executives to Lead Its Supply Chain Management and Distribution Teams


DALLAS, March 8, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Retalix USA (Nasdaq:RTLX), a leading provider of enterprise-wide software solutions for distributors and food retailers, has promoted Tammy Weant to senior vice president, supply chain solutions; and Donna Lippy to vice president of sales, distribution segment. Both Weant and Lippy worked for IDS until it was acquired by Retalix in 2005.

Weant, with over 25 years in the distribution industry, will lead Retalix USA's product solution marketing and sales support for Retalix Power Enterprise, Retalix Power Warehouse, Retalix InSync, and Retalix SCM Classic solutions.

Donna Lippy will be responsible for leading sales efforts in North America in the foodservice and convenience distribution segments. Lippy brings ten years of sales experience with IDS and its predecessor company, H&S Computer Systems. She served as director, sales, southeast region, USA at IDS and as a certified IBM sales specialist.
