This resignation is related to the planned amendment of the Bylaws of the Bank by which the number of the Supervisory Council members will increase from 7 to 8. The amendment is planned to be adopted during an ordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held on 23 March 2007 and will ensure a proportionate representation of the direct and indirect shareholders of the Bank as well as the participation of the independent members in the Supervisory Council of the Bank.
