HCC Names Annette J. Goodreau Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary


HOUSTON, March 9, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:HCC) announced today that Annette J. Goodreau has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary and will have responsibility for all actuarial activities of HCC and its subsidiaries. Ms. Goodreau has 20 years of experience and has been with the Company since 1999, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary of its U.S property and casualty insurance company subsidiaries. Ms. Goodreau is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). She is currently serving as Chairperson of the Program Planning Committee of CAS and a member of the CAS Journal Editorial Board.
