As of April 2 the Icelandic fixed income indexes will be renamed according to the OMX name standard. The new index codes start with OMX followed by a letter identifying Iceland ("I" for Iceland). Next two letters describe the fixed duration of the index. Finally, the last letters indicate whether the index is indexed ("I") or non-indexed ("NI"). A list of the new codes and further information is attached to this notice.
