Notice regarding a payment of dividends in the form of shares in Glitnir banki

It was resolved at the Annual General Meeting of Glitnir banki hf. on 20 February 2007 that shareholders should have the opportunity to receive up to one half of their dividend in the form of shares in Glitnir banki hf. at the price of 24.8 per share. The registration period expired at 19:00 on Friday 9 March 2007. The payment of the dividend will be made on 13 March 2007.

The shareholders of the bank requested 91,35% of available shares.  Thus, the total number of shares requested by the shareholders is 172.086.232.  The number of issued shares in the bank will be raised accordingly and will be 14.436.892.061.
