Raisio plc Stock Exchange Release 15.3.2007 RAISIO EXECUTED AN AGREEMENT ON SELLING ITS FOOD POTATO BUSINESS Raisio has today 15 March 2007 executed an agreement on selling its food potato business in Vihanti to Profood Oy owned by Pohjoisen Kantaperuna Ltd, Potwell Ltd and Markku Tuuli. A preliminary agreement on selling the food potato business was executed in February 2007. The transaction is to be completed by the end of June 2007. The buyer has announced it will continue and develop production in Vihanti. The personnel of the potato product plant will be employed by the new owner under the terms of their current employment contracts.
