New CFO in the Rockwool Group

Knud Jørning will retire by the end of July 2007 when he will be 63. As of 1    
August, the Board has appointed Gilles Maria as new CFO and member of the       
“Direktion” in the Rockwool Group.                                              

Gilles Maria, who is 49 years old and a French citizen and who has been with the
Group since 1984, was appointed Group IT Director as of 1 September 2003. Before
that he was CFO of the Rockwool France subsidiary.
