YIT CORPORATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS' ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING                    

YIT Corporation's Board of Directors held its organizational meeting on March   
16, 2007. From among its number, the Board elected Eino Halonen as chairman and 
Teuvo Salminen and Reino Hanhinen as members of the Audit Committee. It is the  
task of the Audit Committee to assist the Board of Directors in the supervision 
of the YIT Group's reporting and accounting processes.
