Lars Nilsson to leave Axfood AB

Lars Nilsson, Executive Vice President and CFO of Axfood AB, will be leaving his
position to take up the post as CFO of Tele2. Lars Nilsson has served as
Executive Vice President and CFO of Axfood AB since the company's founding in
2000. He starts his new position at Tele2 on 1 May.

Karin Hygrell-Jonsson will take over the position as CFO of Axfood AB on 1 May.
Karin has worked at Axfood AB since the company's founding in 2000. Prior to
that she served as financial manager in the Axel Johnson Group and as financial
manager of Dagab. Karin Hygrell-Jonsson will be a member of Axfood's executive
committee.

Axfood AB conducts retail trade through the wholly owned store chains Hemköp,
Willys and Willys hemma, comprising slightly more than 220 stores, and wholesale
trade through Dagab and Axfood Närlivs. In addition, Axfood collaborates with a
number of proprietor-run stores that are tied to Axfood through agreements.
These include stores within the Hemköp chain as well as stores run under the
Handlar'n and Tempo profiles. In all, Axfood collaborates with over 500
proprietor-run stores. Axfood is listed on the Nordic Large Cap list of the OMX
Nordic Exchange. Axel Johnson AB is the principal owner, with approximately 46%
of the shares.
