FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- 247MGI Inc. (OTCBB:TOFS) ("247MGI") announced today that it has agreed to terms to acquire Digi Card, a custom personalized DVD birthday greeting card from professional athletes.
Digi Card is a personalized alternative to traditional birthday cards. The DVD message which will play on any DVD player, can be tailored to a specific any age group and is not gender specific. Digi Card is not only a greeting card, but a collector's item as well. The card will only be available through the company's website and will be offered in English, Spanish and Japanese.
Digi Card has completed a demo with El Duque that the company plans on submitting to Major League Baseball for licensing. Until the license is approved, the players will lend their image and voice using a generic uniform.
Digi Card is currently in talks with other players from other sports teams including Football, Basketball and Hockey. Customers will have the option to purchase hats, t-shirts, baseballs and mini bats, all bearing the players signatures when purchasing the card.
