ELEKTA HAVE REPURCHASED OWN SHARES FOR SEK 100 M PRESS RELEASE Stockholm, Sweden, March 19, 2007 During the period March 12 through March 16, 2007, Elekta has repurchased 759,271 B shares at an average price of SEK 131.65 totaling SEK 99,958,778. Accordingly, Elekta's current holding of own shares (treasury stock) amounts to 759,271 B shares, which Elekta's Board intends to propose to the AGM to be cancelled. These repurchases were carried out in line with the Board's decision on March 8, 2007, to mandate the executive management to initiate repurchase of shares in an amount of SEK 100 M.
