About the Author

G. R. Ellis has created this selection of poems especially for those who truly believe in the power of love and friendship. He is publishing his works for the first time so that others who are experiencing periods of loneliness and depression due to the loss of a lover, friend, or spouse can take solace in the fact that they are not alone and that as one door closes another somewhere is opening. G. R. created these works to sustain the inner being that was reaching out trying to find someone special. Although he has never shared theses poems with anyone, he feels it's time to let the world in on his abilities. He work delves deep into the psyche of passion, lust and heart felt admiration of the many lives that intertwined with his over a period of four years in the early 90's. The author has no literary background. He and is an engineer and native New Yorker. He now lives with his wife of 10 years in Northern Virginia. He has two sons who live in the Atlanta region.
