Everyday Health Now Among Top Three Largest Online Commercial Health Properties

Only Months After Launch, Site's Rapid Traffic Growth Shows Strong Consumer Demand as Millions Use Everyday Health

NEW YORK, March 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Only six months after launch, Everyday Health (www.everydayhealth.com) has grown to become the third largest commercial web property in the online health space with over 6.8 million unique users, according to February's comScore Media Metrix traffic figures. Everyday Health is also ranked third in the Women's Category.

Of the top 250 properties on the Internet, Everyday Health was among the top twenty fastest growing in the first month of the year, with the number of unique visitors growing more than 39%. It was also one of the fastest growing sites in the health category. February usage figures show Everyday Health attracted more unique visitors than large health information aggregators like AOL Health and Yahoo! Health.

"This strong growth in traffic at Everyday Health is fueled by intense consumer demand for the site's unique tools and communities that enable millions of consumers to proactively manage their conditions. There are many places on the Web to look for general information on medical conditions, but Everyday Health is starting to give people the interactive features that really help them to live with diabetes, heart disease and a variety of other conditions on a day-to-day basis," said Ben Wolin, Waterfront Media's CEO. Waterfront Media is the publisher of EverydayHealth.com.

Everyday Health provides consumers with health and wellness information from its 40 condition centers and features Q&A sessions on various topics from 20 physicians from leading institutions like Columbia Presbyterian, Harvard and Mt. Sinai. Highly customizable user options including meal plans, shopping lists and blood sugar and cholesterol trackers will be introduced later this year.
