Share Bill Cosby With the World: Create Viral Video With Cosby Footage

"Bill Cosby Green Screen Video Challenge" to Drive Individual Donations for U.S. National Slavery Museum on www.eightbucks.org

FREDERICKSBURG, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 21, 2007 -- The United States National Slavery Museum (USNSM) (www.usnsm.org) today announced the launch of the "Bill Cosby Green Screen Challenge" -- where individuals can create funny, unique videos of Dr. Cosby and share them online.

The video of Dr. Cosby is available on www.eightbucks.org. Interested videographers can download the footage, which includes a call to all Americans to donate $8 to the U.S. National Slavery Museum. The campaign encourages awareness of the museum, and enables participants to develop their own personalized message on the topic. The videos can be posted on the new web site and YouTube, where people can vote for their favorite videos.

"We are taking full advantage of the 'new media' marketing landscape that works very well for corporations and major television shows," said Dr. Vonita Foster, executive director, USNSM. "It is unprecedented for a non-profit museum to offer an opportunity of this nature, and we hope this effort will result in a much expanded level of financial support for this historic and much needed initiative."

The program supports the "Why $8?" campaign which urges all Americans to donate $8 to the museum. In fact, a donation in this amount is very relevant to the museum and the topic of slavery:

-- $8 is the shape both of shackles (the symbol of slavery) and, if
turned on its side, of infinite freedom.
-- $8 is a reasonable sum of money that allows every American to be a
    part of this incredible project.
-- $8 buys recognition for millions of enslaved African Americans who
    helped build America.
-- $8 will help remove shackles that still divide our nation and replace
them with a new symbol for a more united America.

In addition, a donation of $8 will be rewarded with admittance to the Museum's exclusive opening preview.
