Biotage - Change of security type

At the Annual General Meeting held on 27 April 2006, the shareholders resolved
to adopt new Articles of Association. According to the new Articles of
Association, the company shall have only one class of shares and that shall be
common shares. Consequently, the company's A-shares are changed to shares
without serial identification. This means that the security type Ak A is changed
to Ak in the VPC system. The record date at VPC is 29 March 2007.

The Biotage share will have the new trading name BIOT. First day for trading
under the new trading name is 27 March 2007.

New ISIN-code is SE0000454746.
