26/03/2007 Metsäliitto Cooperative and Moelven Industrier ASA have agreed that Finnforest products and services will continue to be sold by the Moelven's sales network in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. “We have enjoyed serving our Scandinavian customers in close cooperation with Moelven for many years. The agreements that we have signed will ensure continuity for our customers ─ they can buy the Finnforest products they need from the same supplier as before”, says Ole Salvén, Metsäliitto Group Executive Vice President, Director of Wood Products Industry. In Denmark, Moelven sells Finnforest building and plywood solutions as well as sawn timber and upgraded products. In Sweden, Moelven sells Finnforest building and plywood solutions, and in Norway, it sells Finnforest building solutions. Finnforest building solutions include such widely used products as Kerto LVL, gluelam and I-joist. Moelven is one of the leading suppliers of wood-based building products and related services in Scandinavia. It was directly responsible for Finnforest's business in Scandinavia in 2001-2006. Metsäliitto sold its shareholding in Moelven to a Norwegian consortium in December 2006.
