Olympic Entertainment Group has established a company in Romania as the first step of preparation in entering the local gaming market. The name of the registered company is Olympic Casino Bucharest SRL. According to Andri Avila, Member of the Board of Olympic Entertainment Group, Romania with its growing economy is of considerable interest for OEG. „At present acquisition negotiations are being held with several Romanian casino operators,” Mr. Avila said. “Compared to local casino operators we see that the unique concept of Olympic Casino is our competitive advantage.” Romania has a population of 22 million of whom more than 2 million live in the country's capital Bucharest. Since the beginning of this year, Romania is a member state of the European Union. At present Olympic Entertainment Group operates casinos in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine.
