ATA Airlines Expands Redemption Opportunities in Frequent Flyer Program

ATA Airlines Travel Awards Members Now Have the Option to Convert Points Into Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credits for Travel to More Than 50 Additional Domestic Destinations

INDIANAPOLIS, March 29, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- ATA Airlines has enhanced its Travel Awards frequent flyer program through a new Point conversion benefit. Travel Awards Members can now redeem 7,250 Travel Awards Points for one Southwest Airlines Rapid Reward Award. This new benefit allows Travel Awards Members access to over 50 additional domestic locations served by Southwest Airlines. Members can already choose to earn either ATA Travel Awards Points or Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards credits for their ATA travel, and may now also convert Points into Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Awards. This further solidifies ATA's program as one of the most rewarding in the airline industry. Travel Awards Members can earn an Award after taking as few as two (2) roundtrips.

"This program enhancement opens up a host of new travel destinations for our members through our codeshare agreement with Southwest Airlines," said ATA's Senior Vice President-Scheduled Service, Josef Loew. "This is one of many significant changes we have made to the program over the past year and we will continue to identify and foster new ways to build the Travel Awards Program as the most generous loyalty program in the industry."
