NCC to construct tunnel for Norwegian Railway Inspectorate

NCC Construction AS will conclude an agreement worth approximately SEK 435
million with the Norwegian Railway Inspectorate's Infrastructure Development.
The order pertains to a tunnel for parts of the double-track railway line from
Lysaker to Sandvika, west of Oslo.

Work will commence on May 2 and is scheduled for completion on August 1, 2010.
The works include blasting, securement and other interior construction work in
the tunnel. At most, about 45 of NCC's own employees will be engaged the
project.

Known as Fossveien, the project is part of the new double-track railway on the
route between Skøyen and Asker.

The contract is for tunnel works from the transport tunnel at Fossveien in
Bærum. A 240-meter-long transport tunnel is to be established down by the main
line for double-track railway services. Subsequently, a 1,050-meter-long tunnel
will be constructed towards Lysaker and a 750-meter-long tunnel towards
Sandvika. These two tunnels will connect with other tunnel contracts.

The contract will be signed on April 10, 2007.
