The Competition Authority has in a ruling no. 13/2007, which was announced today, decided that Icelandair ehf., the subsidiary of Icelandair Group hf., had abused its dominant position in its scheduled flights to Copenhagen and London during 2004 and imposed an administrative fine in the amount of ISK 190.000.000 on the company for violation of the Competition Act. Icelandair ehf. has already decided to appeal this decision to the Competition Appeals Committee.
