SUBSCRIPTION OF SHARES IN BIOTIE PURSUANT TO A CONVERTIBLE LOAN
Pursuant to the convertible capital loan been determined by Biotie
Therapies Corp. on 25 March 2004, the total of 270,000 new shares
has been subscribed for. The new shares have been entered in the
Finnish Trade Register on 2 April 2007. Following the increase, the
total number of shares in Biotie Therapies Corp. is 89,800,660. The
loan capital converted in connection with the subscription amounts
to EUR 504,563.77. The share capital has not been increased.
The subscribed shares entitle their holders to dividend as of the
financial year 2007 and to other shareholder rights as of the
registration. The new shares shall be subject to public trading on
the official list of the Helsinki Stock Exchange together with the
old shares on 3 April 2007.
The subscription period for the shares pursuant to the company's
convertible loans determined on 25 March 2004 commenced when the
convertible loans had been registered with the Finnish Trade
Register and it will end on 31 December 2005 or when the loan
capital has been paid back in full. So far, a total of 270,000 new
shares have been subscribed pursuant to the convertible loans
determined by the company on 25 March 2004.
