Baltika's consolidated net sales in March totalled EEK 99.8 million and increased by 53% compared to March previous year. Retail sales grew 64% yoy and amounted to EEK 79.2 million. Wholesale increased by 23% to EEK 19.6 million. As of the end of March, Baltika Group operated 118 shops with total sales area of 20,901 square metres. Five stores were opened in March - four in Lithuania and one in Ukraine. In March, Baltika opened the first Ivo Nikkolo store outside Estonia. The store is located on the largest shopping street in Vilnius, Lithuania and is designed in accordance with the new concept developed for the brand in Baltika. In the first three months of 2007, Baltika opened seven new stores. A total of 12-16 openings are planned in the first half of the year.
