On April 5 2007 AS Merko Ehitus, OÜ Tamax Holding and OÜ Saxon Trade concluded a purchase- sales contract of holding as a result of which AS Merko Ehitus acquired 75% holding of OÜ Fort Ehitus (Registry Code 10722444), with nominal value 30,000 EEK. Principal activities of OÜ Fort Ehitus are hydraulic engineering and pile works. The holding was acquired in order to strengthen competence of the group in the field of pile works and hydraulic engineering construction. Future plans of the company include first of all expansion to the segment of cast-in-place piles and to on-shore markets. According to the purchase- sales contract Merko Ehitus pays immediately 15 million EEK of the sales price, residual sales price will be paid within 3 years and final sales price of the deal depends on fulfillment of the purposes set on Fort Ehitus.
