2007 FIRST QUARTER RESULTS AND CONFERENCE CALL MONDAY, 23


Metro International  S.A., the  international newspaper  group,  will
announce its financial results for  the first quarter ended 31  March
2007. The press release  will be published on  23 April at 8:00  A.M.
CET. The report will be available at www.metro.lu.

CEO Pelle  Törnberg, CFO  Frank  Mooty and  COO Chris  Spalding  will
present the  results in  a  conference call  at  10:00 A.M.  CET.  To
