Business Bank of Nevada Hires Seasoned Banking Professionals to Fill Branch and Service Manager Positions in Southern Nevada


LAS VEGAS, April 17, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Business Bank of Nevada, now part of City National Bank, today announced that it has hired Patrice Schmidt, Scott Magee and Mirray Sorial Garcia to fill two branch and one service manager positions in southern Nevada. Schmidt joins the bank with more than 25 years of banking experience, while Magee has 13 years and Garcia has 10 years of experience working in the financial services industry.

Schmidt joins Business Bank as vice president and branch relationship manager of the Bank's full-service branch at 7280 West Lake Mead and Tenaya Way in northwest Las Vegas. She replaces Floy Davis who will be relocating to the Bank's new Summerlin facility to be the manager of this new branch when it opens in late summer. Prior to joining Business Bank, Schmidt worked for Community Bank of Nevada for nearly two years as vice president and business relationship manager. Schmidt's tenure in banking also includes working for U.S. Bank in Las Vegas for nearly five years as a branch manager and business development officer, and Bank of America (formerly Valley Bank of Nevada) in Las Vegas for 18 years as vice president and branch manager. Magee joins Business Bank as vice president and branch relationship manager of its full-service branch at 4310 West Cheyenne and Valley Drive in North Las Vegas. Magee replaces Celeste Putt who will be managing the Bank's new Cash Management Department following next month's systems conversion and brand rollout of the City National Bank name throughout Nevada. Prior to joining Business Bank, Magee worked for a year and a half as a financial center manager for U.S. Bank in Las Vegas. He also worked for approximately four years as a financial center manager for Washington Mutual Bank in Las Vegas. Prior to moving to southern Nevada in 2000, Magee lived in Houston, Texas, where he worked for a couple of years as a special services manager for Chase Manhattan Bank. He's also worked for several other financial services companies, including Custom Home Loans, Inc., in Las Vegas, as well as CyNet and United Recovery Systems in Houston, Texas. Garcia joins the Bank as assistant vice president and customer service manager of the Bank's full-service branch at 6085 West Twain Avenue and Jones Boulevard in Las Vegas. Garcia replaces Jamie Brussell who is relocating to a new facility the Bank will be announcing and opening at the end of next month. Prior to joining Business Bank, Garcia worked for City National Bank for six years as an assistant vice president and client services officer at the Plaza Tower branch in Century City Los Angeles. Her banking career also includes serving as a customer service specialist for Wells Fargo Bank in Los Angeles. Garcia attended Santa Monica College in southern California.
