PHOENIX, April 17, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- U-Haul today announced the promotion of Mike Wiram to vice president, Dealer/Affiliate Operations Support, where he will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the U-Haul Dealer/Affiliate Program.

Wiram began his U-Haul career in 1997 as director of Computer Support Services (CSS), the position he has held until this recent promotion. Under Wiram's leadership, his CSS team developed Web B.E.S.T., the industry's leading point-of-sale system, improved Field Computer Support and modernized the U-Haul mainframe infrastructure.
