The electronic company Vilniaus Vingis AB seeking to clear the business activities in the end of previous year created the daughter's company - Vilniaus Vingio Geba UAB, which partly took over of Vilniaus Vingis AB activity - the production of deflection yokes. Based on 31.12.2006 date, in Vilniaus Vingio Geba UAB worked 256 people in total, from which 221 people are in production. The situation being complicated in the deflection yokes production market and the orders volumes being decreasing of the main customers, 118 workers of Vilniaus Vingio Geba UAB were gradually dismissed, paying the dependent money compensation. The orders decreasing of the main customer Samsung 87 more workers were stand idle from April 18, 2007. Vilniaus Vingis AB constantly carrying on negotiations with main customer - color picture tubes production company Samsung due to future production orders of deflection yokes. The negotiations are going more active and further. The activity of Vilniaus Vingio Geba UAB will depend on the end of these negotiations.
