The Capital's First Annual Modern and Contemporary Art Fair Will Feature Over 80 Galleries From Europe, Asia and the Americas


NEW YORK, April 26, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Summit Business Media, LLC, a leading media company serving the art industry, will hold artDC, the first annual modern and contemporary art fair in Washington, D.C. The event will take place at the Washington Convention Center, Hall E from April 27 to April 30, 2007. The fair will showcase modern and contemporary art in all disciplines including painting, photography, sculpture, works on paper and video. Special attractions at artDC will include SLICE, where visitors can discover the newest trends in the art market by emerging artists, and "Another Look: New Art from Shanghai," a curated exhibition of contemporary artists from Shanghai working in a variety of media including painting, photography, video and sculpture.
