At the Annual General Meeting, the report on the activities of the Company during the past year was submitted and taken as read. In addition, the shareholders approved the following items on the agenda:
- Audited Annual Report
- A resolution for ratification of the acts of the Supervisory Board and of the Executive Board and discharging them from liability
- Resolution regarding the distribution of the net profit for the year according to the Annual Report as adopted. DKK 1,967 million in dividend will be distributed for the year
- Re-election of Chairman. Deputy Chairman and the other nominees to the Supervisory Board. The Board constitutes as follows:

In his oral report, Chairman Fritz H. Schur made the following comments: "The year 2006 was in all ways very eventful: With the approval of the Commission, Denmark's new large energy company, DONG Energy was founded on 14 March 2006 with the merger of DONG, Elsam, Energi E2, Nesa, Copenhagen Energy's power activities and Frederiksberg Forsyning's power activities".
