Listing of the Huhtamäki Oyj 2003 C option rights and year 2007 subscription dates under option rights 2003 A, 2003 B and 2003 C

HUHTAMÄKI OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE April 27, 2007 AT 9.00

Huhtamäki Oyj applies for the C option rights under the 2003 option
rights plan, adopted by the General Meeting of Shareholders held on
March 28, 2003, to be listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange so that
the listing will commence on May 2, 2007. The total number of C
option rights is 750,000 and each C option right entitles its holder
to subscribe for one (1) share of Huhtamäki Oyj. In the aggregate the
C option rights entitle holders to subscribe for 750,000 shares and
the corresponding maximum increase in the share capital is EUR
2,550,000. The period of subscription for shares under the C option
rights shall begin on May 2, 2007 and shall cease on October 31,
2009. The period of the subscription shall be annually between May 2
and October 31 on specific subscription dates designated by the
company. At the beginning of the subscription period on May 2, 2007
the share subscription price under the C option right is EUR 11.93
per share.

The subscription dates for shares under the option rights 2003 A,
2003 B and 2003 C in 2007 will be the following:

- Wednesday May 23, 2007,
- Wednesday June 27, 2007,
- Wednesday July 25, 2007,
- Wednesday August 29, 2007,
- Wednesday September 26, 2007 and
- Wednesday October 31, 2007.
