Mr. Papasan served from July 1991 to May 2002 as the President of Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics (SNN). Mr. Papasan has also served as a director of Smith & Nephew, Inc. Since August 2005, Mr. Papasan has been a director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BioMimetic Therapeutics, Inc. (BMTI), an emerging leader in the development and commercialization of recombinant protein-based products for the treatment of musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries and disorders.
