Today Baldvin Valtýsson has been appointed Head of Landsbanki London Branch. He will also be responsible for managing all Landsbanki structured finance lending activities on a group level, within the corporate banking business line. Baldvin has been responsible for the largest domestic and international corporate accounts at Landsbanki headquarters in Reykjavík and the structured finance products within Corporate banking. He joined Landsbanki in 2003 from Búnadarbanki where he had been responsible for the bank´s most important corporate loan portfolios. Landsbanki would like to express its thanks Baldvin´s predecessor, Lárus Welding, for his time with the bank and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
