Pursuant to the Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Paragraph 10, Marimekko      
Corporation announces that it has been informed today that Morgan Stanley & Co  
International Plc's share of Marimekko Corporation's share capital and voting   
rights decreased to 4.77 per cent as a result of a transaction made on 20 April 
2007.                                                                           

According to the disclosure, Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc's share of   
Marimekko Corporation's share capital and voting rights after the transaction is
