Agency to Handle National Brand, Product Launch for New Super-Premium Vodka


KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 1, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Bernstein-Rein has won agency-of-record duties for Stiletto Brands, a premium spirits importer headquartered in New Orleans, La. Bernstein-Rein's first priority is handling all aspects of the national brand and product launch for the new client's signature offering, Stiletto Super Premium Vodka. Stiletto is the first woman-owned vodka company in the United States and one of the few woman-owned companies in the spirits industry.

According to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, vodka dominates the industry, accounting for nearly 27 percent of the distilled spirits sold in the United States. Stiletto is a grain-based Russian vodka and is classified in the "super-premium" category, the fastest-growing segment of the spirits industry. In addition to Stiletto Vodka, it also will be available in chocolate, vanilla and mint flavors. Sazerac Brands will manage Stiletto's importation and national distribution, initially through Republic Brands and Young's Market Company.
