Proving That 'Variety is the Spice of Life,' Texas Pete launches Two New Hot Sauce Flavors

Texas Pete's Hotter Hot Sauce and Garlic Hot Sauce are Now Available

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., May 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- TW Garner Food Company has announced the expansion of its popular Texas Pete(r) line of sauces, to include two new flavors of hot sauce: a hotter version of their flagship hot sauce and a garlic hot sauce. These two new products offer variety to hot sauce lovers who are seeking new flavors to enhance their food.

Texas Pete(r) Hotter Hot Sauce is three times as hot as the original, yet the heat doesn't overpower the unique aged-pepper taste that makes the original Texas Pete(r) Hot Sauce so distinctive. Texas Pete(r) Garlic Hot Sauce provides an added kick and a versatile flavor that is the perfect compliment to a variety of foods, while maintaining the same heat level as the original. TW Garner Food Company Marketing Director, Glenn Garner states, "We listened to our customers who had expressed interest in more variety and choices with our popular hot sauce. After working diligently to ensure that these two new flavors are worthy of the Texas Pete(r) name, we are now ready to offer them to the public."

These two new products are available in 6 oz. bottles at select retail locations with plans to expand the distribution nationally. In addition, a gallon size is provided for food service.

With these new additions, the Texas Pete(r) line now provides consumers and retailers a range of products including three varieties of Hot Sauce, Wing Sauce, Honey Mustard Sauce, Pepper Sauce, Seafood Cocktail Sauce, and two types of Hot Dog Chili Sauce.
