Handelsbanken takes over occupational pensions for SAS s Swedish pilots worth over SEK 7 billion

Handelsbanken is taking over the occupational pensions of SAS's
Swedish pilots from Alecta. With an insurance capital of over SEK 7
billion, this represents one of the largest single occupational
pension deals ever carried out in the sector.

The deal is a portfolio transfer and means that the occupational
pensions of SAS's Swedish pilots are transferred to the Swedish
branch of Handelsbanken Life & Pensions, which is part of business
area SPP.

The portfolio transfer was carried out on 1 May 2007.
