LogMeIn, Inc. Updates Remote Administration Platform

RemotelyAnywhere Now Windows Vista Compatible With Native 64-Bit Support and Advanced Disk Mapping

WOBURN, Mass., May 3, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Technical support and administration professionals can now use the latest version of RemotelyAnywhere, the leading administration platform from LogMeIn, Inc. (www.LogMeIn.com) to manage Windows Vista and 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

RemotelyAnywhere (http://www.remotelyanywhere.com) couples remote control with a rich diagnostic toolkit for complete remote administration of workstations and servers on or off the corporate LAN or WAN.

Among other benefits, a new disk mapping feature enhances the remote control experience by temporarily connecting the remote computer's drives to the host.

RemotelyAnywhere offers a feature-rich remote administration toolkit in a single, browser-based interface. The latest version features several key enhancements, including:

 * Disk mapping
 * Windows Vista compatibility
 * Native 64-bit support

RemotelyAnywhere enables users to remotely administer PCs that run any Microsoft operating system released in the past 10 years. Through disk mapping, users can now connect all the drives on their local computer to a remote PC during remote control.

"The addition of disk mapping and the ability to support Vista and 64-bit machines makes life even easier for network administrators," said Michael Simon, CEO, LogMeIn, Inc. "Simple, fast remote administration on a LAN is now supported on every Microsoft platform starting with Windows 98 and ending with Windows Vista."

About RemotelyAnywhere

RemotelyAnywhere offers a veritable toolkit of remote administration options in a single, browser-based interface -- almost all of which can be administered in the background without slowing down the network or interrupting end users. It deploys across a network in minutes, and provides secure remote access to and administration of any machine on which it is installed -- using only a web browser on the remote end -- so no special client software is required on the local machine.

RemotelyAnywhere's toolkit includes remote control; a dashboard view of system information for quick problem identification and resolution; the ability to update remote systems without the need of a reboot; built-in SSH and FTP server functionality; a view of correlations between files, services and processes; and additional management tools such as user manager, drivers, registry editor, event viewer, wake-on-LAN, and reboot capabilities.

Security features include automatic 128- to 256-bit encryption of all transferred data, integration with Windows and RSA SecurID, and protection against unauthorized logins or Denial of Service Attacks with configurable IP filtering and IP lockout tools.

Pricing and Availability

List price for the Workstation Edition of RemotelyAnywhere is available for $99 per computer, and the Server Edition is $199 per computer. The Network Console is $199 per seat, allowing an unlimited number of connections to the computers you support with RA. Volume discounts are available.
