New chief executive for XACT Fonder AB


XACT Fonder AB, a subsidiary of Handelsbanken, has appointed Henrik
Norén as its new chief executive. He takes up the post today, 8 May
2007.

Henrik Norén has worked within asset management and investment
banking at Handelsbanken for several years, including a period as
head of the unit for share-related incentive programmes. He has
worked for XACT Fonder AB since April 2006, and has been responsible
for product development, marketing issues and other areas.

Henrik Norén takes over from Dag Tjernsmo, who has been appointed
head of Handelsbanken Asset Management, Nordic region.

XACT Fonder is the market leader in the Nordic countries for
Exchange-Traded Funds, ETFs. The global market for exchange-traded
funds has shown rapid growth since the early 1990s, when the first
ETF was listed in the US.

In 2000, XACT launched the first exchange-traded fund in the Nordic
region. Today, there are seven XACT funds listed on the Stockholm
stock exchange, one on the Oslo stock exchange (XACT OBX) and one on
the Helsinki stock exchange (XACT OMXH25).
