No Time For Fear -- New Book Reveals the Great Partisan Efforts Against Germans in WW II

VERO BEACH, Fla., May 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- On December 10, 1944, a twenty-five year old Lieutenant is shot down over the Brenner Pass. Follow his account as he becomes involved in the underground exploits and sabotage against the German occupation troops in the Italian Alps in the novel, No Time For Fear by author W.B. Berry.

This story chronicles the events that encompassed the author and his Partisan and Special Forces counterparts while undertaking sabotage, espionage and combat aggressions against the German occupation armies that were attempting to eliminate the Italian Partisans. No Time For Fear tells how the author became attached to the British Number 1 Special Forces and became commander of a forty-four man Partisan outpost. Their aggressive attacks and sabotage against the German occupation forces became a major contribution for the Allied armies and their Italian victories. Those who served the resistance cause and participated in the gruesome day-to-day activities confronting the enemies were subjected to excruciating cold, intense fatigue, constant misery, lingering hunger and terrible discomfort.

This book is an exciting retelling of the Great Partisan efforts to harass and exterminate the German forces. It gives an inside look at the destructions and devastations of war, such as blowing up bridges, railroads, barracks, warehouses, ammunition depots and fuel storages on an almost daily basis. It also reveals the harsh conditions that soldiers have to fight in, going on for days without sleep, comfort and sometimes food. This historical story will interest people, particularly those who want to know more about WW II. It candidly shows readers the bleakness of war, the hope for its end and finally, the sweet victory after the many sacrifices made.
