NCC to build cultural center and hotel in Svolvær, Norway

NCC has concluded a partnering agreement worth approximately SEK 178 million
with Lofoten kulturhus AS and the hotel chain Thon of Norway concerning the
construction of a cultural center and hotel.

The buildings will be located at the harbor for the Hurtigruten route in
Svolvær, the central location in Lofoten, and the town square will be the
closest neighbor. The cultural center will comprise 2,650 square meters of floor
space. The hotel will have ten stories, floor space of 6,000 square meters and a
garage with 1,900 square meters of floor area. The architecture will contribute
new features to the location; for example, the buildings will have fully glazed
façades.

Project management will begin immediately. Work at the location will commence
shortly and everything is scheduled for completion by the end of 2008. The
parties have signed a partnering agreement, and the works will mainly be
performed by subcontractors.

The assignment will be registered among orders during the second quarter of
2007.
