JetBlue Names John Ross Vice President, Flight Operations


NEW YORK, May 14, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) today announces John Ross has been named Vice President, Flight Operations, effective immediately. Mr. Ross will lead JetBlue's 1,700 pilots and Flight Operations team, including fleet programs for the Airbus 320 and Embraer 190 aircraft. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Russ Chew.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Ross was interim vice president of JetBlue's System Operations department since March 1, 2007, and before that he was Director of Flight Safety since joining JetBlue in 2005. Mr. Ross joined JetBlue after 24 years with US Airways in Flight Operations and Flight Training. Mr. Ross is a JetBlue Pilot and holds a Captain's bid on the airline's 100-seat E190 aircraft.
