NetManage to Reschedule Report of First Quarter 2007 Results


CUPERTINO, Calif., May 14, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq:NETM), a software company that provides the fastest way to transform legacy applications into new Web-based business solutions, will be rescheduling the earnings call for the Company's first quarter 2007 financial results that was previously scheduled for Monday, May 14, 2007.

The earnings announcement and conference call will be rescheduled at a later date to allow the Company time to complete an analysis and review as required by newly applicable Financial Accounting Standards Board Interpretation No. 48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes -- an Interpretation of FASB Statement No. 109 (FIN 48) which clarifies the accounting for uncertainty in tax positions.

NetManage plans to file a Notification of Late Filing on Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 15, 2007, relating to its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007. Under SEC rules, the filing would extend the May 15, 2007 due date for the filing by up to 5 calendar days.
