More Men of Mortuaries Add Sex Appeal for Calendar to Benefit Breast Cancer

Donating to Charities Has Never Been So Thrilling

LONG BEACH, Calif., May 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- If you thought the men on the last Men of Mortuaries calendar were sexy, just wait till you see this next group. Gathered from across the country and Europe, these hunks will be joining forces to help raise funds for women who are dealing with breast cancer. Undertakers, morticians, embalmers and funeral directors will be showing even more skin, in more creative ways, for the next Men of Mortuaries calendar. Last year's calendar was conceived by Kenneth McKenzie, owner of McKenzie Mortuary in Long Beach, Calif., to raise funds for KAMM Cares Cancer Foundation to help ease the financial burdens of lost wages and medical expenses due to breast cancer. His sister is a survivor herself, and has been the inspiration behind the cause.

Last year, Whoopi Goldberg declared the calendar a "must have!" Gene Shalit of the Today Show considered the Men of Mortuaries calendar to be the top choice for the giving season. Newsweek listed the calendar among its top 10 picks.

With new designers, even more handsome men and a format that shows more skin per page, this next calendar is sure to top the 2007 calendar. Says Kenneth McKenzie, "Our audience asked for more skin, so we're giving them what they want. The calendar will still be something you can put up in your office, it's just likely to draw a bigger crowd. All from men of the mortuary business. Who'd have thought?"

All 17 hunks will be gathering in Long Beach on May 18th and 19th for the filming and photo shoot. Accommodations are being provided by the Coast Hotel, 700 Queensway Drive, Long Beach, CA 90802.
