Proposal Software's Top-Rated Proposal Management Platform PMAPS to be Showcased At APMP Conference May 29

WESTPORT, Conn. and SAVANNAH, Ga., May 21, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Proposal Software, Inc.'s innovative Proposal Management and Production System (PMAPS(r)) will be showcased at the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Conference to be held in Savannah, Ga. May 29 through June 1, 2007.

PMAPS(r) provides the "best in class" comprehensive proposal management platform in use by over 200 major companies worldwide. Originally developed in 1994 and now in its tenth generation, PMAPS(r) is an "industrial strength" application developed for large-scale organizations who must continually respond to a high volume of sophisticated, major account Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) in order to maintain their sales momentum.

Proposal Software Inc. chief technology officer Steven Heffter will demonstrate the powerful features of PMAPS(r), including 150 productivity improvements included in the most recently upgraded version, PMAPS(r) 2006. Many of the changes in this latest version of PMAPS(r) were the direct result of input by experienced PMAPS(r) clients who use the platform to turn around high volumes of RFP's under very tight deadlines.

Proposal Software, Inc. director of commercial markets Mike McKenzie, who oversees the sales, support and training for commercial use of PMAPS(r), will also attend the conference. McKenzie will demonstrate how to utilize the superior work flow processes embedded in the PMAPS(r) platform to achieve "best practices" across large organizations in the management of their RFP and RFI activities.

PMAPS(r) has been integrated with a number powerful sales and marketing tools including eASE Exchange, used by asset managers to streamline the burden of updating consultant databases with asset, performance, characteristics, and other requested data; and the powerful and widely used LexisNexis(r) InterAction(r) client relationship management software used by the legal community. It is also integrated with Mimeo, the leading on-demand provider of documents that can be printed, assembled, finished and delivered overnight; and with The Accent Librarian, the leading presentation assembly and management platform. The data in PMAPS(r) can be synchronized with most other user software and database platforms including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, XML, SQL, DBF, and ASCII using the internal PMAPS(r) Data Bridge module.

McKenzie is a member of the board of directors and membership chair of the APMP Chattahoochee (Atlanta) Chapter. He also serves on the board of directors of APMP's Nor'easter Chapter, serving as co-program chair.

PMAPS's(r) clients include leading financial services, healthcare, and investment management companies including PacifiCare, Health Net, ING Investment Management, the WellPoint family of healthcare companies, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, AAM-Investment Management, Blue Asset Management, Fred Alger Management and a wide cross-section of Fortune 1000 corporations
