OMX Baltic stock exchanges welcome AS “Trasta komercbanka” as a pan-Baltic member

AS “Trasta komercbanka” has been approved as a member on the OMX Baltic stock exchanges in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. AS “Trasta komercbanka” has become the 20th pan-Baltic member. Its membership on all three OMX Baltic stock exchanges comes into effect as of May 22, 2007.

AS “Trasta komercbanka” is the oldest commercial bank in Latvia that has been working since 1989 and today offers an international bank service. The Bank supplies the full spectrum of financial products to local and international customers, giving special attention to the customer-tailored approach.

AS “Trasta komercbanka” is a dynamic and highly effective credit institution - in 2006 it has taken leading places in Latvian banking industry according to profitability indexes. The Bank has branch in Liepaja (Latvia) as well as foreign branch in Cyprus. There are representative offices of Trasta komercbanka in Canada, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The bank has two subsidiaries: realty company "TKB Real Estate“ and leasing company " TKB Leasing“, which has representative office in Russia. Trasta komercbanka AS is the member of Latvian Central Depositary since 1997.

AS “Trasta komercbanka” will trade on the OMX Baltic stock exchanges under the trading code TKB.  The OMX Baltic stock exchanges have 41 members altogether.
