Juhani Järvi resigns from the position of Kesko's Corporate Executive Vice
President 

Kesko Corporation and Juhani Järvi have agreed that Järvi resigns from the
position of Kesko's Corporate Executive Vice President and Deputy to the
President and CEO as of 1 June 2007. Järvi has held the position since 17 March
2005. He also resigns from membership in the Corporate Management Board and in
the Boards of Kesko Food Ltd and Rautakesko Ltd as of 1 June 2007. 

Järvi will continue working with Kesko by consulting Kesko and its business
divisions in various reorganisation and internationalisation projects. He will
also continue to participate in the work of the boards of some Kesko
subsidiaries as their member. 

As part of streamlining Kesko's administration, the plan is to divide the
duties of Corporate Executive Vice President Järvi among other members of the
Corporate Management Board. Järvi has been responsible for corporate
development, IT management, real estate services, and corporate responsibility
and business development.
