A Fascinating Story of Her Journey With Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Author Vicki Chandler Shares Her Inspiring Journey With MS and How She Found True Contentment in God Despite Her Disease

WARMINSTER, Pa., May 28, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- No one knows your deepest fears or your private uncertainties. Others can't see your pain or fatigue. If you are living with Multiple Sclerosis (or any chronic disease), most likely you feel discouraged from time to time or even hopeless. MS: Living With Hope and Strength, an inspirational book by Vicki Chandler offers hope for people in the midst of physical and emotional pain.

MS: Living With Hope and Strength presents a new perspective for those of you facing an uncertain future. If you have MS or any chronic disease, you have to deal with frustration, discouragement, and life-changing decisions. The constant pain and fatigue of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can make you feel discouraged. The future seems uncertain because your health is unpredictable. There are days you feel fine and even happy. But that joy seems so fragile. We all yearn for inner strength that is lasting, not fleeting and dependent on circumstances and good health. This book offers God's prescription for hope and strength. In the midst of real pain, real fatigue, real disappointments, Vicki found His abundant hope. God can turn worries into peace, your sadness into joy.

Many people with chronic illness fight to have a positive outlook in life. It is a daily struggle to remain joyful. But eventually, that fragile joy can't stand up to the demands of life. Thus, we can only find true rest in God's care, and inspiration in knowing the hope we can have in Him. Who wouldn't want to experience such joy and hope in the midst of affliction? Who wouldn't be fascinated with true contentment despite facing trials associated with a disease that can't be cured? The dismal details of the author's disease are undeniably depressing, but her true contentment in the Lord is contagious and compelling.
